My goal is to be your Development Catalyst!
No matter what your walk of life - whether you're a solo entreprenuer or an executive in a big corporation; as long as you're motivated for change and open to fresh perspectives - coaching is for you!
I believe that every person possesses within him or herself the ability to change and transform their future. People do not need to be "fixed", but rather released to experience their own natural creativity and resourcefulness. My role is to:
Listening and asking powerful questions that open up new possibilities is at the core of who I am as a Coach. Coaching is not about being your friend or your confidant; it is about holding up a mirror to reveal the patterns and behaviors that may be holding a person back. Coaching is NOT about telling, rather it is about unlocking the treasure hidden inside.
Benefits of Coaching: Working with a coach can be powerful during times of transition or any time you want to grow and/or change. Coaching provides feedback and support and can help leverage strengths to accelerate professional growth.
What Coaching Is and Is NOT
The role of coaching is to aid in the discovery journey, as the client reflects and determines a path to a more desired ideal state. It is not about “fixing” a weakness or managing performance; rather it is about growth and development in areas in which the client feels he/she can really excel with additional focus and effort. Coaching can help a person who feels “stuck” to move forward, as well as holds up a mirror for the client to gain more self-awareness. Coaching is reserved for individuals who want to “raise the bar” and take their lives to the next level.
Coaching is a holistic journey of self-discovery that explores all facets of the client's life - no subject is off limits.
What to Expect During Coaching
A coaching engagement usually is 3-6 months meeting every 2-4 weeks for one hour (although all of this is negotiable). The cadence of meetings will be determined by the client and agreed upon by the coach. The sessions can be held in the client's office or a neutral location jointly determined.
The Initial Meeting:
The First Coaching Meeting:
On-going Coaching Meetings:
- Encourage self-discovery
- Observe, clarify and align with what my client wants to achieve
- Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies
- Hold the client responsible and accountable for their commitments
